Since 2017 Redbud has been rooted in Brent’s passion for bringing people together through music and community.
Brent graduated from Purdue University with a BS in Industrial Engineering. His previous experience in Mechanical Engineering and Facility Management lead the efforts in the continued revitalization of the building and surrounding property.
He has been writing and recording music for over 25 years, with a current emphasis on audio engineering and production. Recent works include projects with Sony and Warner Brothers, as well as a growing number of local artists.

As the Venue Manager at Redbud, Dana brings a lifelong connection with music and the entertainment industry into her work. Having grown up immersed in creative and performance-driven environments from a young age, she developed a deep appreciation for both the artistry and structure behind the music industry.
She is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University’s esteemed Recording Industry program, earning a BS in Audio Production with a minor in Music Industry. Her musical background includes violin and vocal performance, extensive symphony and orchestral experience, and performances in various choir settings.
As an active member of the Chattanooga music community, Dana enjoys her work at Redbud because it allows her to foster meaningful relationships with local artists and engage in all aspects of the music industry — from performance and production to the behind-the-scenes work that helps creative spaces thrive.

As an artist, Teni Rane’s work is rooted in curiosity, connection, and growth. At Redbud, she brings her creative mindset to business development and marketing initiatives with the goals of expanding visibility, nurturing relationships, and investing in community. She is energized by possibility and by moving ideas towards living programs, fuller rooms, and new partnerships.
She believes healthy businesses grow best when they grow with their communities. Her goals for Redbud include creating spaces for stronger artists, engaged audiences, and sustainable operations.
Teni graduated from the University of Arkansas with a BS in Chemical Engineering and often finds that process oriented background helpful in keeping creative and wide-ranging endeavors organized and on track. In addition to finding every opportunity available to sing, she currently works alongside clinical staff in behavioral healthcare settings as a yoga instructor and mindfulness educator.

This building has quite the history! The initial structure was a wood sanctuary on ground level built sometime around 1910 (city property records were lost in the 1920 Chattanooga fire). Several congregations met throughout the years, at one point raising the building 10 feet higher and setting it on a 2 foot wide foundation of river rock. Later, an addition was added to the building to house a nursery and classrooms. Around 1970, it was purchased by an individual who used it solely as a shop/warehouse/apartment until their death in 2012.
We acquired the property in 2017 and have been working on its rehabilitation since. We are thrilled with the spaces we've activated for use and continue to progress through improvements to the building and property.
Our vision combines a love for music and bringing people together, with the hopes of serving the Ridgedale community for years to come with a safe and comfortable music & event space!
